Since 1731, the Amarelli family has been producing the world’s finest licorice in Rossano, Calabria. From the root of Glycyrrhiza glabra, grown along the Ionian coast, comes a product of unmatched purity and intensity. The Assabesi are soft licorice candies made with precious gum arabic, flavored with natural anise in a fun assortment of shapes.
